Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities launches massive advertising campaign to promote the Pharaohs’ Golden Parade in Arab, international social media platforms

 

 

 CAIRO - 26 March 2021: Starting Thursday, March 25 evening, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, is launching a major advertising campaign to promote the Pharaohs’ Golden Parade on Arab and international social media platforms, especially in the main markets exporting tourism to Egypt.

 

 This comes in accordance with the plan approved by the "Tourism Promotion Experts" committee formed by the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities headed by the CEO of the Board, and the membership of a number of marketing experts from the Ministry and the Board, as well as university professors.

 

 Eng. Ahmed Youssef, CEO of the ETPB, indicated that this campaign will include translating all promotional materials and videos for the event into 14 different languages, to be placed on the official pages of the Ministry and the Board on social media sites; Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in the Arab and international markets.

 

 This advertising campaign also included the purchase of advertising space on various social media sites to promote this event in a number of important markets exporting tourism to Egypt; among these countries are Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Belarus, Ukraine, England, Japan, and the United States of America, Italy, France and Germany.

 

 In the context of providing the opportunity in many countries to follow this event that will dazzle the world, a number of international and Arab television channels will broadcast it live, in addition to the live streaming of the event on the official YouTube channel of the Ministry and Experience Egypt and a number of other websites will also broadcast the live stream through their YouTube channel.

 

 It is worth noting that the Royal Parade of the transfer of royal mummies from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to their permanent display place in the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization will be witnessed by the world on April 3.  22 mummies, including 18 mummies of kings, and 4 mummies of queens, will be transferred in this unrivaled parade; the mummies are of King Ramses II and King Seqnen Ra Taa, Tuthmosis III, King Seti I, Queen Hatshepsut, Queen Meritamun, wife of King Amenhotep I, and Queen Ahmose-Nefertari, wife of King Ahmose.
