Gezira Museum of Art to be inaugurated in June 2022

CAIRO – 23 March 2021: The Sector of Fine Arts headed by Khaled Sorour resume the development, rehabilitation and renovation works of the Gezira Museum of Art. 

Head of the project, Engineer Emad Bayoumi, said that the work is in full swing and new ideas and architectural elements have been included to bring the museum out in the best way to be ready for opening at the end of June 2022.

Bayoumi added that the Gezira Museum of Art is very important to revive the civilizational and cultural heritage through its many activities and valuable exhibits. The museum is built on a total area of 9000 meters, with green spaces, sidewalks and a fire tank.
