Egypt bans sugar imports for another 3 months - Gazette

CAIRO - 8 March 2021: The Official Gazette published on Monday a decree issued by Minister of Trade and Industry Nivene Gamea to extend ministerial decree no. 606 of 2020 to halt sugar imports for three months.

The decree stipulates not allowing the import of white and raw sugar for three months unless there is a prior approval from the ministers of trade and industry and supply and internal trade.
