CAIRO - 23 February 2021: The Ministries of International Cooperation, Local Development, Agriculture and Social Solidarity discussed a plan for expanding a project by the World Food Program (WFP) for rural and agricultural development in Egypt.
The step comes after the success of the first phase of the project that was implemented in 63 villages in Egypt.
The remarks were made at a meeting held by International Cooperation Minister Rania Mashaat in the presence of Minister of Local Development Mahmoud Shaarawy, Minister of Agriculture Sayyed Quseir and Minister of Social Solidarity Neven Al Qabag with representative of the WFP in Egypt Menghestab Haile.
The meeting was aimed at coordinating efforts and stances between the two sides to discuss future priorities at the level of international partnership according to the national development agenda 2030.
