PM forms board of National Food Safety Authority

CAIRO – 03 July 2017: The Head of the Egyptian Cabinet, Sherif Ismail, issued a decree to form the board of the National Food Safety Authority, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Tarek Kabil announced Monday
.
The board will be chaired by Hussein Mansour for a three-year term, starting from the date of issuance, and will be consisted of 15 members; including seven members represent the concerned Ministries.

The minister noted that one core target for the new board is to promote the quality of the Egyptian food industries to increase its ability to compete internally and externally through exportation and raise the investment rates.
