Credit Agricole Egypt records profits of LE 1.37B during 2020

CAIRO – 10 February 2021: Credit Agricole Egypt recorded a decrease in its consolidated profits during 2020 by 41.9 percent, reaching LE 1.37 billion, compared to LE 2.36 billion, including minority rights, in 2019. 

 

According to the bank’s financial results, revenues declined to LE 5.17 billion in 2020, compared to LE 5.96 billion in 2019.

 

As per standalone results, the bank recorded profits of LE 1.36 million, compared to profits of LE 2.36 million in 2019. 

 

During the first nine months of 2020, the bank recorded a decrease in its consolidated profits by 44.3 percent, reaching LE 1.03 billion, compared to LE 1.86 billion, including minority rights, in the same months of 2019. 

 

During the first half of 2020, the company recorded profits of LE 701.01 million, compared to LE 1.304 billion, including minority rights, in the same months of 2019.

 

Credit Agricole – Egypt operates within the banking sector. It has subsidiaries operating across Egypt, working on commercial & professional services and thrifts & mortgage finance.
