Disney lifts ban on Egyptian imports as of July 1

CAIRO - 2 July 2017: Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek kabil said Sunday the Walt Disney Company has lifted a ban imposed on Egypt as of July 1.

Egypt will be re-allowed to use the Disney brand and import products to the global company, the minister added.

Kabil said the ban was lifted thanks to the political and economic reforms currently being implemented in the country.
