Infographic on Egypt's new fuel, gas prices
CAIRO – 29 June 2017: The Cabinet imposed Thursday new increases to fuel price as the price of 80-octane gasoline soared from LE 1.60 ($0.08) to LE 3.65 per liter, while the 92-octane increased from LE 3.50 to LE 5.00 per liter.
Residential and commercial consumers of less than 30 cubic meters will pay LE 1 ($0.5) per cubic meter, while consumption bracket between 30-60 cubic meters will pay LE 1.75 per cubic meter, and the bracket above 60 cubic meters will pay LE2.25.
