CAIRO - 30 September 2020: Finance Minister Mohamed Maait announced new facilities to encourage citizens to pay government dues via e-payment.
In statements on Wednesday, the minister said these facilities will enable citizens to receive services without any added expenses.
This comes within the government’s efforts to reach a cashless society, enhance financial inclusion and entrench Digital Egypt pillars, the minister said.
He added that citizens can pay their dues that exceed EGP 10,000 starting from October 1 through 4,000 post offices nationwide as well as the following banks: The National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, Banque du Caire, Commercial International Bank, Arab African International Bank, Agricultural Bank of Egypt, Arab Bank, National Bank of Greece, United Bank of Egypt, QNB ALAHLI , Bank Audi, Credit Agricole, Ahli United Bank, Suez Canal Bank, Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt, HSBC, Egyptian Bank for Export Development and Mashreq Bank.
