Minister: Investments in New Valley in 2020/2021 plan hit LE4.09B

CAIRO - 16 September 2020: Minister of Planning Hala Saeed said on Wednesday that investments in the New Valley governorate in the 2020/2021 plan would hit 4.09 billion pounds.

She added in a statement of the ministry that these funds constitute 41 percent of the total investments allocated for central Upper Egypt.

She made the remarks at a virtual meeting with New Valley Governor Mohamed Al Zamlout, added the statement.

They discussed creating more jobs in the governorate and optimal use of the governorate's resources, according to the statement.
