CAIRO – 23 August 2020: Egypt is one of the few major emerging markets in the world that will maintain its positive growth rate despite the negative economic effects of the coronavirus pandemic, outperforming most of the other major emerging markets, Egypt’s Cabinets highlighted in an infographic according to the latest Fitch Solutions report for the fourth quarter of 2020.
Minister of Planning Hala el-Saeed said earlier that Egypt is one of the very limited countries in the world that was able to achieve a real growth rate during 2020 in light of the repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic according to preliminary estimates.
Saeed added that the growth rate in Egypt is the highest in most emerging countries, which reflects the success of the Egyptian government in dealing with the repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic in a balanced and sound manner.

CAIRO - 19 August 2020: Egypt is one of the very limited countries in the world that was able to achieve a real growth rate during 2020 in light of the repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic according to preliminary estimates, Minister of Planning Hala el-Saeed said Tuesday.
The infographic revealed that Egypt was able to achieve remarkable progress in the field of education with the latest US News ranking about the best countries in education level 2020.
It also stated that Egypt is the third in the Arab world and the 42nd globally in terms of education, according to a classification by US News 2020.
Minister of Higher Education, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, announced earlier in August that Egypt ranked third in the Arab world in terms of the quality of education
Abdel Ghaffar added that Egypt also jumped nine places on the "US News" global ranking for the world's best universities for the quality of education.
He clarified that Egypt's high regional ranking is based on the increasing number of Egyptian universities, with at least one university in almost every governorate. Another contributing factor to Egypt's improvement in providing education has been the country's support for scientific research
