Egyptian Embassy in Canada organizes seminar to promote national economy

OTTAWA - 22 July 2020: The Egyptian Embassy here has organized a virtual seminar to promote the national economy, with Egyptian Planning Minister Hala el Saeed taking part. 

The seminar was organized in cooperation with the Canada Arab Business Council.

Saeed reviewed social and economic policies adopted by Egypt to confront the negative impact of coronavirus. 

She touched upon investment opportunities in the different sectors, as well as means to support economic relations between Cairo and Ottawa. 

More than 150 Canadian officials, MPs and board members of giant Canadian firms attended the seminar.

Businessmen wishing to invest in Egypt also took part in the event.
