House passes amendments to public business sector law

CAIRO - 20 July 2020: The House of Representatives has given its final approval to a draft law presented by the government on amending some provisions of the public business sector law no. 203 of 1991.

Speaker of the house Al Abdel Aal announced the approval which came with a two-third majority.

The aim of the amending the law was to liberalize the public sector and increase the efficiency of companies to boost the country's economy and encourage investments.
