Damanhur overpass ready to be opened;Transport min.

CAIRO 26 June 2017:Minister of Transport Hesham Arafat announced on Monday that construction works in Damanhur overpass have been finalized and that it is ready for inauguration.

The EGP 151 billion bridge is 1,300 meters long and 23 meters wide, Arafat said.

The project comes within the framework of the ministry's plan to develop the Cairo-Alexandria agricultural road and reduce traffic congestion at the entrance to Damanhur city.
