Dollar drops versus pound recording LE 16.1 for buying, LE 16.2 for selling

CAIRO - 24 June 2020: The US dollar exchange rate retreated versus the Egyptian pound during transactions at Egypt's banks on Wednesday.

The dollar rate declined one piaster, standing at LE 16.1 for buying and LE 16.2 for selling, according to a statement by the National Bank of Egypt.

The price of the euro recorded LE 18.14 for buying and LE 18.34 for selling, NBE said.

As for the prices of some Arab currencies, the bank added that the Kuwaiti dinar recorded LE 49.91 for buying and LE 52.69 for selling, the Saudi riyal stood at LE 4.20 for buying and LE 4.31 for selling and the Jordanian dinar’s price was LE 22.39 for buying and LE 22.83 for selling.
