Finance Ministry auctions LE 13.5B T-bills

CAIRO - 21 June 2020: The Ministry of Finance auctioned treasury bills at a total value of LE 13.5 billion.

In a statement released Sunday, the ministry said it sold 91-day T-bills worth LE 6 billion with average yield of 12.917 percent, adding it accepted bids at rates between 13.05 percent and 12.252 percent.

The ministry added that 266-day T-bills worth LE 7.5 billion were offered, with average yield of 12.965 percent, noting that it accepted bids at rates between 13 percent and 12.4 percent.
