Gasoline, diesel, LPG extra quantities for holidays

CAIRO – 24 June 2017: A 20 percent increase in gasoline quantities will be added to the market, from 20 million liters per day to 25 million liters to meet the needs during Eid al-Fitr and summer holidays, the Ministry of Petroleum said Saturday.

Diesel quantities will be boosted 10 percent from 50 million liters per day to 55 million, according to the ministry statement.

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders’ warehouses will work at full capacity during the holidays, supplying the market one million cylinders.

The LPG reserves were also secured in all governorates at 90,000 tonnes, according to the ministry.
