Supply min.: 1.25 tons of wheat supplied so far

CAIRO - 4 May 2020: The supply rate of wheat harvest in 2020 is the highest in years with 1.25 million tons supplied so far at a daily supply rate of 12,000 tons, said Supply Minister Ali Moselhy on Monday.

The minister was briefing Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on the status of the wheat supply nationwide.

The Finance Ministry has allocated EGP 5.2 billion for paying financial dues to framers who supply their wheat harvest, Moselhy said.
