CAIRO - 17 December 2019: Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Li Yong on Tuesday confirmed his organization's keenness on expanding cooperation with Egypt.
He added in statements during a tour of a handicrafts and traditional products exhibition that his agency is implementing a strategy for working in Egypt on the basis of enhancing industrial growth rate and creating more jobs for ending unemployment and achieving comprehensive economic development.
Up to 64 companies and more than 100 exhibitors are taking part in the "Creative Egypt" exhibition.
He further added that his agency is working to transfer modern industrial technology to the Egyptian economic and industrial sectors through implementing a training program for entrepreneurs especially women and young people.
