CAIRO – 22 October 2019: Aiming to host Egyptian exhibitors in Ambiente 2020, Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH held a seminar Tuesday in Cairo.
Ambiente 2020 Fair will take place Feb. 7-11, 2020, in Frankfurt, Germany, revolving around all matters of tableware, kitchenware, household goods, leisure, gifts, interior decoration and interior design.
It is an international consumer goods trade fair, which takes place once a year in Frankfurt, open to trade visitors only and offers products in the areas of “Dining - Giving - Living.”
Stephan Kurzawski, senior vice president of Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH, and Erdmann Kilian, director of marketing communications, highlighted opportunities and challenges in the European Market, in addition to topics and products of this fair.
The fair offers some exciting prospects: exhibitors and trade visitors can make first class contacts, discover the latest developments in the market and in design, and they can experience trends and opportunities in all segments, according to the officials.
Another important feature of the fair is the contract business. This is about indoor and outdoor solutions for the furnishing of office buildings, hotels, cruise ships, etc. Visitors get a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences with specialized exhibitors worldwide and with experts like architects and designers. Ambienteis will also be accompanied by special presentations, award ceremonies and numerous actions concentrating on sustainability, creativity and emotionality.
The Tuesday seminar revealed that Egypt's participation in this exhibition will be important as it is a pivotal country in the field of household products and accessories.
Moreover, the seminar emphasized the importance of participating in Ambiente 2020 and the importance of the Middle East market in the relevant field.
“Ambiente is the central hub of the entire consumer goods industry. Exhibitors from over 90 countries will be acting as trendsetters in and beyond the year 2020. In addition, we are planning to expand Dining, and so the new HoReCa hall – 6.0 – will be the perfect port of call for national and international decision-makers in the hospitality segment,” Kurzawski said.
“In this way, we want to respond to the specific needs of the industry. “In the future our visitors will be able to focus even more closely on topics at the interface between hospitality, tableware and interior design,” he clarified.
“From the next edition of Ambiente onwards the Dining area will be expanded to include its own HoReCa hall. Ambiente is the most important marketplace of the year for HoReCa, contract business and ethical style,” according to the announcement.
The exhibition will include exhibits of household utensils and storage, interiors for kitchens, miscellaneous gifts, small electrical appliances, modern collectibles /crafts, and arcade house and garden, as well as kitchen accessories personal accessories and seasonal décor.
Earlier, Head of Chemical and Fertilizers Export Council Khalid Abu el Makarem stated that 10 Egyptian companies will participate in Ambiente 2020.
In 2019, Frankfurt attracted 4,460 exhibitors from 92 countries, occupying over 306,000 square meters of gross exhibition space, showcasing their new developments and innovations for five days.
