CAIRO – 13 June 2017: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes shut on a mixed note Tuesday, amid sideways trading.
The benchmark index EGX30 edged up 0.29 percent, ending at 13,531 points.
On the other hand, the small and mid-cap idxes EGX70 declined 0.17 percent to hit 614.16 points at close. Further, the all-embracing EGX100 index also rose 0.15 percent to close near to 1,442 points.
Market capitalization gained around LE 2.2 billion ($121.34 million) totaling LE 685.6 billion. The market turnover amounted to LE 1.1billion and local traders were the sole net sellers.
