CAIRO - 8 August 2019: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi issued a decree approving a 300-million-dollar loan agreement between the Egyptian government and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) to finance sanitation projects in Egypt.

The agreement was signed in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm el Sheikh on December 9, 2018. It was approved by the House of Representatives on April 14, 2019.

The decree was published in the gazette on Thursday.
