CAIRO – 6 June 2017: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) benchmark index EGX30 recorded its all-time high during Tuesday’s mid-session, registering 13,641 points, marking an increase of 0.9 percent from 13,520 points Monday.
The EGX70 added 0.58 percent to reach at 5894.3 points at 12:20 p.m. (Cairo time.) Furthermore, the all-embracing EGX100 index was also up 0.57 percent to hit at 1,410 points.
Market capitalization gained around LE 2.8 billion ($154 million) totaling LE 684 billion. The market turnover amounted to LE 1.3 billion and foreign traders were the sole net sellers.
