CAIRO – 1 June 2017: Geologist Fekry Youssef assistant in Petroleum Minister announced on Wednesday that new laboratory will be launched to extract and purify gold in Egypt following Cabinet’s approval along with the current amendments of the Egyptian Minerals law.0
The laboratory requires equipment worth one million Euros ($1.1 million) apart from costs of buildings and lands, according to a released statement.
The plans for the new lab comes as part of a meeting of the Industry Committee held in the Parliament where representatives and Youssef discussed the potential of making use of the country’s minerals and natural gas.
