CAIRO – 30 May 2017: The U.S. dollar exchange stabilized against the Egyptian pound in major banks Tuesday, registering an average of LE 18.03 for buying and LE 18.13 for selling.
Recording the highest rate, the Commercial International Bank (CIB) determined an exchange rate of LE 18.05 for buying and LE 18.15 for selling.
While, the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, Egypt’s largest two state-owned banks the USD exchange rate stood at LE 17.95 for buying and LE 18.05 for selling.
The euro exchange rate recorded an average of LE 20.16 for buying and LE 20.28 for selling.
As for the British Pound (GBP) it marked an average of LE 23.15 for buying and LE 23.29 for selling.
The Arab currencies have remained stable against the Egyptian pound. The Saudi riyal marked LE 4.80 for buying and LE 4.83 for selling, while the Kuwaiti dinar registered LE 59.39 for buying and LE59.75 for selling.
