CAIRO, Nov 27 (MENA) - Minister of Oil and Mineral Wealth Tarek al Mulla on Tuesday said that his ministry is planning to introduce amendments into the law of mineral resources that are aimed at attracting more investments into the field.
The remark was made during his participation in a seminar that was held as part of the activities of the 15th Arab International Conference on Mineral Wealth, now in session here.
He pointed out that his ministry is now outlining a road map for upgrading the mining sector with a view to encourage more investments that will contribute to pushing up the sustainable development process.
The move is serving the goals of the Egyptian State for achieving sustainable development through setting up economic projects that would enhance the mineral wealth in Egypt, he added.
