CAIRO, Nov 24 (MENA) - Etisalat Misr CEO Hazem Metwally said Saturday the telecom operator raised its 2019 planned investments to EGP 3.5/4.5 billion.
In statements, Metwally hailed the role played by the Egyptian state in promoting the digital economy and financial inclusion.
Etisalat plans to commercially launch its landline services in Egypt during the CAIRO ICT 2018, to kick off Sunday, he revealed.
"We are working to pressure production costs in light of the slowdown in customer growth due to recent decisions, especially imposing fresh fees on new mobile lines", Metwally added.
