CAIRO/BEIRUT, Nov 21 (MENA) - Activities of the 4th Egyptian-Lebanese Business Forum will start on Friday under the auspices of Lebanese Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri and with the participation of ministers concerned from Egypt and Lebanon.
The event is organized by Lebanon's Economy and Business Group in cooperation with business councils from both countries, the association of Egyptian-Lebanese businessmen, the Egyptian embassy in Lebanon and the commercial representation office in Beirut.
In a statement on Wednesday, the group asserted the importance of the event especially in light of the leap witnessed in the economic ties between Egypt and Lebanon.
A raft of economic issues will be discussed during the forum, including investment laws, incentives and challenges in addition to priorities on the two sides' investment maps, the group said.
Minister of Investment Sahar Nasr, Minister of Industry and Trade Amr Nassar and Minister of Supply Ali Moselhi will participate in the event, the statement added.
As many as 200 Lebanese and Egyptian business people including a 70-member Egyptian delegation representing numerous sectors will take part in the forum, the group said.
The forum will also take up investment opportunities in both countries along with bilateral trade relations, the statement said.
