Foreign currency steadfast against Egyptian pound Monday

CAIRO – 29 May 2017: The U.S. dollar exchange remained unvaried against the Egyptian pound in major banks Monday, where the highest rate registered at the Commercial International Bank at LE 18.05 for buying and LE 18.15 for selling.

In Egypt’s largest two state-owned banks; the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, the USD exchange rate stood at LE 17.95 for buying and LE 18.05 for selling.

The euro exchange rate recorded an average of LE 20.3 for buying and LE 20.18 for selling.

As for the British Pound (GBP), it marked an average of LE 23.96 for buying and LE 23.16 for selling.

The Arab currencies have remained stable against the Egyptian pound. The Saudi riyal marked LE 4.78 for buying and LE 4.81 for selling, while the Kuwaiti dinar registered LE 59.14 for buying and LE59.47 for selling.
