Cairo – 27 September 2018: While private schools in Egypt are constantly raising the bar and improving the local education standards, Asten College is aiming to push the standards even higher. In a step towards achieving a breakthrough in international education in Egypt, Asten College is brought as a result of a collaboration between BalancED and Palm Hills Developments.
The LE 300 million in school investments and LE 135 million in land that is set to launch by 2020, is built on 60,000 square meters of land located in Palm Hills Developments’ prestigious compound, The Crown, in Sheikh Zayed City and accommodating approximately 2,800 students.
"The partnership with Palm Hills is a result of the agreement made by both parties that in-vesting in education is the most important investment and that Asten College will serve as an ideal model for international schools maintaining international standards in Egypt" said Dr. Salma El Bakry, Managing Director of Asten College.

She also added: “Asten College’s strategy is to develop the skills that match the pace of the rapidly evolving academic and technological advancements of the world in order to pave the way for respectable calibers that have the necessary skills for their flourishing careers.”
Dr. Salma El Bakry also stated that "the philosophy of education at Asten College is based on the approach of building personalities through establishing a set of moral and real-life values(Core 24) to help graduating students compete on a global level.”
One of the major colleges of education in The United States, Florida Atlantic University, is anaf-filiant of Asten College. Asten College will also be the first flagship school sponsored by Micro-soft in the Middle East among 17 selected schools worldwide. Additionally, Asten College is de-signed by Gensler Architecture, the world's leading engineering design company since 2012.
Asten College also focuses on selecting the best elements from teachers who will be prepared by the University of Florida Atlantic to be able to perform their teaching duties in accordance with international standards
