Finance Ministry auctions LE 16.2B T-bonds

CAIRO - 23 September 2018: The Finance Ministry auctioned on Sunday treasury bills at a total value of LE 16.250 billion.

In an online statement, the ministry said it sold LE 8.250 billion of 91-day T-bonds with an average interest rate hitting 19.62 percent. The yield ranged from 19.675 percent to 19.349 percent.

The ministry also sold LE 8 billion of 266-day T-bills that had a coupon of 19.84 percent. The yield ranged from 19.899 percent to 19.5 percent.
