Presidential decree approves grant to apply int'l standards on EEHC financial reports

CAIRO - 20 September 2018: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued a decree approving a grant agreement to apply international standards in preparing financial reports of the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC).

The agreement was inked in Cairo between the Investment and International Cooperation Ministry and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on August 6, 2017.

The grant is worth $1,969 million.

The decree was published in the official gazette on Thursday.
