Revenues of APA EGP 4.803 billion in 2018-2019

CAIRO - 11 September 2018: Transport Minister Hisham Arafat said that the revenues of the Alexandria Port Authority (APA) in 2018-2019 reached EGP 4.803 billion in comparison witho EGP 2.458 billion in 2017-2018.

In a statement on Tuesday, Arafat said that the targeted surplus was EGP 1.617 billion but the port actually made EGP 3.640 billion with a 225% increase than the targeted surplus.

The port succeeded in doubling the revenues and surplus for the second year in a row due to the new projects implemented in it, Board Chairman of the authority Medhat Attiya said.
