FILE: Presidential Assistant for National and Strategic Projects Ibrahim Mahlab
BEIRUT - 12 July 2018: The 26th edition of the Arab Economic Forum honored former Egyptian prime minister Ibrahim Mahlab in recognition of his strenuous efforts in the spheres of development and setting up mega investment projects in Egypt, Lebanon and many Arab countries.
On the sidelines of the forum, currently taking place in Beirut, Egypt's presidential aide for strategic and national projects Mahlab was hailed for adopting an approach meant to implement many development projects during his term as a premier.
The forum also honored Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri, Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al Ghanim, The Saudi Fund for Development as well as the Arab Bank.
Established in 1993, the Arab Economic Forum was sponsored by Lebanon's late president of Council of Ministers HE Rafik Hariri, after the end of the Lebanese civil war.
The Forum, which is organized by Al Iktissad Wal Aamal Group in Lebanon, is attended by about 25,000 officials and investors from various Arab and other countries. (MENA)
