Saudi Arabia, UAE sign 20 cooperation deals

JEDDAH - 7 June 2018: Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates signed Wednesday 20 agreements of mutual cooperation, as well as deals for 44 joint projects, Saudi news agency SPA reported Wednesday.

This came during the first meeting of the Saudi-Emirati Coordination Council co-chaired by Saudi Crown Prince and Minister of Defense Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince of Abu-Dhabi and deputy commander of the UAE armed forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zaid Al Nahyan, who was on a visit to Jeddah.

The council has been formed to increase bilateral cooperation in the fields of mutual concern and follow up the implementation of targeted projects and programs to achieve the two countries’ joint vision for economic, developmental and military integration.

The council also includes 16 ministers from both countries to provide the optimal cooperation between them.
