Media main partner in executing economic reform plans: Min.

CAIRO - 9 May 2018: Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Kabil said Wednesday that mass media is a key partner of the government's in implementing economic reform plans as their active and positive participation contributes to promoting for comprehensive economic development plans and placing the Egyptian economy in the regional and international limelight.

In his address to the closing session of the training program organized by the Ministry of Trade and Industry in cooperation with the Syndicate of Journalists' Economic Editors Section.

The program represents a new beginning for active cooperation between the ministry and the economic journalists in general and the trade, industry and small and medium-enterprises in particular, he said.

The ministry seeks at this stage to continue the industrial and foreign trade development strategy 2020, he added.

The three-day training was attended by 30 journalists representing various newspapers, magazines and websites.
