PM stresses important role of SCZone in boosting economy

CAIRO - 7 April 2018: Prime Minister Sherif Ismail stressed on the important role of the General Authority For Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) in boosting the national economy, as well as creating job opportunities for the young people.

This came in a meeting between Ismail and Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) and the General Authority For Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) Mohab Mamish to review available investments in the SCZone and the projects currently being implemented whether in the infrastructure or the economic and logistic zones.

For his part, Mamish underlined the diversification of sources of investments in the SCZone in accordance with the directives of the political leadership.

He pointed to the high demand by foreign investors on investments in the SCZone.
