CAIRO – 7 February 2018: Investors around the world will find Egypt much more attractive compared to other places, Chairman of TCI Sanmar Chemicals PS Jayaraman said in a video posted on the Ministry of Investment’s Facebook page on Wednesday.

He said that the biggest attraction to any investor in Egypt is the presence of a huge and growing market.

He added that the investment law has helped investors to move forward with their agendas, adding that the country was moving in the right direction.

Indian Ambassador to Egypt Sanjay Bhattacharyya said Wednesday that his country's investments in Egypt increased during the past few years thanks to the economic reforms that Egypt implemented.

In a seminar on economic relations between Egypt and India organized by the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI), the ambassador said Indian investments in Egypt stand at $3 billion through 50 companies.

He added that Egypt is one of the most important trade partners of India in the Arab region and Africa. The volume of trade exchange between the two sides is expected to increase 15 percent this fiscal year, he said.

Bhattacharyya further said that three Egyptian companies are investing now in India, inviting more Egyptian firms to invest in his country.
