Aptech is a global education and training company headquartered in Mumbai, India. Aptech has recently been edging into the Egyptian market through the University of Alexandria, the Azhar Univeristy and Nahda University.
In Egypt, Aptech will be providing three courses: Digital Marketing via ARENA Animation, English courses through Aptech Learning and Computer and an information technology (IT) program through Aptech Learning.
The event started off with welcome speeches from Engineer Mohamed El Rashidi, Managing Director at Taaleem Management Services and President of the Board of Trusties of Nahda University in Bani Sueif; and Kallol Mukherjee, Deputy Functional Head of Retail International Ltd.
During his speech Rashidi expressed how close the project is to his heart, voicing his optimism at the possibilities that will open up to the youths who take part in extra courses after or during their academic years.

Explaining how this cooperation between Aptech and Taaleem came to happen, Rashidi stated how proud he is of the joint work that the two will do together, explaining that there is much value to be added to the Egyptian market, as a result of youths participating in extra trainings and classes.
Triumphantly, Rashidi spoke, “There is nothing more important than investing in a new capital for the youth of Egypt.” And this can be done no better than through invetsing in extra courses that would give them more practical knowledge and prepare them for the labor market that exists today.
“Extra courses will also allow them to advance a lot in their careers,” spoke Rashidi.
The program, according to Rashidi, also comes in line with Egypt’s 2030 strategy. “It furthers education by creating education that is both attainable and sustainable.” Aptech programs are expected to achieve technological education, allowing Egypt to reach sustainable growth.
“We [Aptech and Taaleem] aim to adapt students to international standard skills. This will prepare them to go out to the world and compete globally, it will equip them for the future.”
Rashidi reassured that more centres will continue to launch, allowing more and more people to benefit from Aptech’s great opportunities. “The centre that we are inaugurating today, which is the nucleas for many more to come, as we have agreed this morning”… is set to enrich students with many valuable skills.

In comments to Egypt Today, Rashidi revealed that what made them pursue this project is the idea that academic education on its own is no longer enough. “Academic education alone does not give you the skills to compete in the market. What differentiates two people, especially fresh graduates, are the skills that they hold,” explained Rashidi.
Rashidi further revealed that Taaleem and Aptech have spoken to several corporates and banks, like CIB; they have proposed the idea of training the fresh graduates that join them. He also explained that Telecom representatives were present during the launch as they would their new recruits to be trained.
He expects that courses in big data and cyber safety will help Egypt reach its 2030 strategy.
In a special reveal, Rashidi stated, “The time of the inauguration could not be more perfect. Aptech will be launching their third generation technological education in March and so they will introduce virtual reality and augmented reality into the courses. This will really help students to grasp the courses and benefit from them to the fullest.”

Similarly, Mukherjee spoke well of the great achievement.
“It took us quite a long time to come to Egypt. Better late than never,” he spoke jokingly. “It has been on the plan for quite a long time. It took us one year, with Taaleem, to come here.”
Mukherjee revealed that an evaluation yesterday showed the 79 percent of those who underwent the course scored higher than 70 percent. “This is the kind of result that we want in Egypt,” he spoke.
“Our vocational programs have reached 7 million students till date. Aptech has many courses, not just English. Anything to do with skill and employability, we have been successful at, and we bring to the table.”
