CAIRO – 14 April 2017: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) showed mixed performance during last week’s trading.
The benchmark index, EGX30, dropped 1 percent, standing at 12,967 points, the EGX said in its weekly report.
The small and mid-cap enterprises EGX70 index surged 0.63 percent, registering 590 points, while the all-embracing EGX100 was up 0.6 percent, totaling 1,361 points.
Market capitalization fell 0.3 percent, reaching nearly EGP 663 billion ($36.5 billion). Total turnover recorded EGP 5.8 billion, compared to EGP 7 billion over the previous week.
