Trade Ministry forms a council on transportation, logistics

CAIRO – 16 December 2017: Trade Minister Tarek Kabil issued a decree on Saturday to form a council for transportation, logistics and shipping.

Published on Saturday in the official Gazette, the decree on the new council said that its membership will include Chairman of Alexandria Port Authority, Medhat Attia, Vice Chairman of SCZone, Abdel Kader Darwish, Head of Damietta Port Authority, Ayman Saleh and Khaled el-Sakty, Dean of the College of International Transport and Logistics in Arab Academy.

Members will also include Head of the International Transport Services division at Alexandria’s chamber of commerce, Medhat el-Kady, board member of Alexandria Chamber of Shipping Marawan el-Sammak, CEO of Egypt Air Cargo and Airline Bassem Jouhar and Head of the Holding Company for Maritime Transport Fathi Jibril.
