CAIRO – 29 November 2017: The Planning Ministry has finished preparing a database on administrative sector’s employees and will complete the national strategy for training administrative workers next month, the ministry’s spokesman Ramy Galal said Wednesday.

He said that the ministry will start next week preparing a database for trainers and training companies that will participate in training 5.7 million government employees. The database will also include consultants, who will be responsible for the capacity building strategy.

The government’s national training strategy will include the launch of a governmental website to provide a distant training platform for employees, and the establishment of human resources development centers in ministries and other government entities. It will also include the signing of cooperation protocols with banks to fill the financing gap, according to Galal.

He further said that the government is pressing ahead with a program to train the middle leadership in the administrative sector in cooperation with ESLSCA Business School, from which 110 employees obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Galal added that the program will continue until 1,500 employees are trained.
