Egypt bourse gains LE 19B last week

25 November 2017: The Egyptian Exchange gains hit EGP 19 billion last week as its index jumped 1.87 percent.

The market capital hit EGP 789.6 billion, with the benchmark index EGX 30 surged by 1.87 percent to reach 14,106 points, said a weekly report issued by the Egyptian Exchange on Saturday.

The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) also upped 1.25 percent to reach 773 points.

The all-embracing EGX 100 index rose 3.13 percent, taking the index to 1,786 points
