Industrial zone to be set up in Mahalla

TANTA, Egypt - 12 November 2017: Gharbia Governor Ahmed Sakr on Saturday said an industrial zone for spinning, weaving, and ready-made garments would be established in Mahalla.

"The project comprises three industrial zones aiming to develop the Egyptian industries with the participation of the private sector," Sakr told MENA.

"The project is planned to attract new investments of about EGP 2 billion, create 25,000 jobs, and establish about 110 new spinning and weaving factories," he added.
