DAMIETTA, EGYPT, Nov 3 (MENA) - Damietta Port received over the past 24 hours eight ships -- four container ships and four cargo vessels, Damietta Port Authority Media Center said Friday in a statement.
Four container vessels and six cargo ships have left the harbor.
Also, two trains loaded with 2,607 tons of wheat and 91 vehicles carrying 4,507 tons of wheat left the port, the statement read.
The port's grain silo is currently containing 156,649 tons of wheat along with 54,266 tons at the private sector's stores, according to the statement.
