Sisi approves deal with AFD on boosting energy sector budget

CAIRO - 2 November 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi issued presidential decree No. 248/2017 approving an agreement signed between Egypt and the French Development Agency (AFD).

The agreement aims at boosting the budget of Energy sector, as the AFD provides the Egyptian government credit facilities and two grants.

The deal was signed in Cairo on March 27, 2017.

The decree was published in the Gazette out Thursday.
