CAIRO -31 October 2017: Prime Minister Sherif Ismail stressed on Tuesday the Egyptian state's keenness on attracting new investments into the Suez Canal zone.
During a meeting with Port Said Governor Adel el Ghadban, Ismail stressed the importance of continued follow-up of development projects currently established in the Suez Canal zone to provide high-quality services for citizens.
Ghadban said five industrial projects are currently set up in Port Said and 47 plots of land have been allocated to establish new projects in the governorate.
He also reiterated that all encroachments on state-owned lands have been removed and efforts are underway to legalize the status of such lands.
Port Said will be the first governorate to apply the health insurance system, recently approved by the cabinet, the governor said.
