Cabinet denies shortage of subsidized commodities

CAIRO - 14 September 2017: The cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center denied social media reports claiming that there is shortage in subsidized commodities and an increase in their prices in cooperatives.

The Ministry of Supply said that the news is totally void of truth, asserting that there is no rise in prices of subsidized commodities.

The ministry also confirmed that subsidized commodities are available and there is enough storage of supply commodities.

The ministry pumps large quantities of commodities on daily basis to different governorates.
