YouTube adds a new breaking news section

CAIRO –19 August 2017: According to Techchurch, YouTube has 1.5 billion people watching an hour of videos each on mobile devices.

Youtube is always trying to make things easier for their users by adding a breaking news section on the website and the mobile application.

Not all users have access to the breaking news section, hence it might be possible that google is still conducting tests with some users.

For the moment it is not clear how stories or sources are chosen for the breaking news section, as betanews reported. The breaking news section might be algorithm-powered or curated for individual stories.
