IDA launchers terms of licensed factories

CAIRO – 6 August 2017: The Industrial Development Authority (IDA) started Sunday selling terms of reference for establishing factories in Sadat City, Alexandria and Port Said.

Specified for small and medium projects, the IDA said in a Sunday statement that the projects shall be in food, engineering, chemicals, textile and pharmaceutical sectors.

Bidders should apply technical and economic feasibility studies, with 5 percent in bid bond percentage rate, out of the total value of the contract.

The factories come as part of the government’s initiative called ‘Your Factory is Licensed,’ under which the investor will obtain already-built and licensed factories for SME projects.
